One of the most famous names associated with the city is that of French couturier Yves Saint Laurent, who had a love affair with Morocco. Now that relationship is being explored in a new exhibition in the museum of Saint Laurent\'s cherished Majorelle Gardens. STORYLINE: The late fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent was inspired by the light and colours of Marrakech. Yves Saint Laurent first visited Marrakech in 1967 and several years later he and his businessman friend, Pierre Berg, bought the house and gardens which once belonged to the painter Jacques Majorelle. The Majorelle Garden, known also as one of the twentieth century\'s most mysterious gardens, houses an abundance of plants representing the five continents.
