'(4 Mar 2014) OLIVIA PALMERO ATTENDS VALENTINO FASHION SHOW IN PARIS The fashion crowd turned out Tuesday (4 MARCH 2014) afternoon to watch the Valentino womenswear show at the Pavillon Eph�m�re in Paris\'s Tuileries Gardens, with brand founder Valentino Garavani and socialite, model Olivia Palermo sitting in the front row. Various fashion blogs were abuzz after the show because American Vogue editor Anna Wintour was seated second row. The audience saw a potpourri of feminine and sophisticated looks, including 1960s graphic circles, embroidered birds and butterflies, and diamonds in everything from leather and lace to fur. Designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli say they took inspiration from several \"unconventional\" Italian female artists who helped change Italian culture in the 1960s and 1970s. The clothing was meant to preserve femininity while at the same time show fresh, youthful energy. This was achieved with sleek kimonos, wool capes, long ponytails forming circles of hair, and an abundance of autumn colors.
