ENDS PREEN \'VENTURE\' INTO THE UNKNOWN Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi unleashed their show \'Venture\' on London\'s fashion obsessed celebrities today (Monday). Preen, a cult London label which combines quirky tailoring with club culture influences. Thornton and Bregazzi\'s clothes are worn by a stellar cast of celebrities, including Kate Moss, Madonna, Liv Tyler and Sarah Jessica Parker. For \'Venture\' took inspiration from undergarments and David Bowie, as Thea Bregazzi explains: \'We were really interested in the look of David Bowie and that was a real inspiration. He\'s quite hard and very original and he was just so cool. We just really wanted that original but beautiful and fine featured feel in our show.\' The collection also sees the pair launching a collaboration with Cotton USA. Preen are well known for their clever use of fabrics, mixing natural fabrics such as cotton with high tech ones. They find cotton inspiring because of it\'s many variations , also because the natural textures and properties are ideal for experimenting with to achieve unique effects. Cotton USA aim to push the technical and creative ways in which cotton is used currently and in the future. They are excited to be teaming up with Preen who are at the forefront of British fashion. A progression from their previous collections, which have explored the world of a make-believe girl who is into recycling and bringing the past to life, for Spring/ Summer 2004 \'Venture\' offered they created a modern feel with cotton forming the basis of the collection. Preen always offer a cotton jersey and drill range within their collection which always proves hugely popular with their customers. Their cotton drill trousers are bestsellers and have become a \'Preen\' classic.
