'http://www.FTV.com/videos PARIS - Manish Arora may have his own line but the collective fashion masses were waiting with bated breath for his turn as designer at Paco Rabanne. Since Arora is known for metallic and futuristic pieces, it was no surprise his unique twist on those Rhodoid dresses of the 1960s. The designer label has showcased those metallic sequined dresses in the past, but Arora took it to another level making it functional as well as flashy. That\'s not all that was fashion forward about this hip line. Philip Treacy created hats that looked like something from outer space and Nicholas Kirkwood did the shoes. What more could you ask for? Sharp shoulders and poofy hems were in abundance alongside the metallics, plastics, and fiber optic beading. Models came down on an escalator giving the whole thing a sharp out of this world vibe. But the sharp 60s theme was pronounced throughout and for good reason--Arora knew that when he went back to Paco Rabanne\'s archives for that decade he could easily recreate the look with a modern punch. And he did.
