This time around, though, it wasn\'t all the jaw-dropping ball gowns that were doing the talking. The short lace dresses also spoke to the crowd that oohed and ahhed throughout the show. Marchesa\'s Fall 2012 line was inspired by French painter William-Adolphe Bouguereau\'s painting A Soul Brought To Heaven about two angels carrying a woman through clouds. This theme was brought to life in the feminine pieces, luxe embroidery, and lavish feathers. Though the models looked like angels, there was also a tough element with skeleton print bodysuits and leather.
