'DOLCE & GABBANA Spring Summer 2016 Full Show Milan by Fashion Channel Dolce & Gabbana spring summer 2016 collection is a sartorial love letter to 1940s Italy. Designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana created a big wet kiss of a collection dedicated to their beloved Italy. A collection that had the added goal of becoming the most selfie-filled fashion show of all time. The late 1940s exert the same romantic hold over today’s Italians as does our post-war era here. Giant screens placed over the heads of the audience announced just before the show that models would be taking selfies with them and to enjoy this interactive participation in the event. And that is exactly what happened. The models themselves, carrying their cell phones, took selfies as they walked the runway. This twenty-first-century dream then appeared on Two huge screens above the catwalk. That was not the only thing that sent the audience into a jolly mood.
