'Brisbane-based high school student Nysha Kapur talks about the hidden and overlooked cost of fast fashion. In her thought-provoking talk, she exposes the inhumane working conditions and minuscule wages of workers who manufacture our clothing, with big, profit focussed fashion companies being the culprits of this trend. Nysha pleads us to stop being ignorant to this the slave industry, and encourages us to scrutinize clothing brands, reduce our clothing consumption and donate to and shop from Op Shops. Nysha is a Year 10 student at Clayfield College. She is a vibrant person with a passion for STEM and is also a keen debater.
