'(25 Apr 2019) GEORGINA CHAPMAN AND KEREN CRAIG OF MARCHESA SHOW FOR FIRST TIME SINCE WEINSTEIN SCANDAL Marchesa has debuted on the second day of Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week (BBFW) in the gardens of the Pedralbes Royal Palace, presenting their 2020 spring bridal collection as well as a selection of party dresses, which is a synthesis of lightness and romance. It\'s the first fashion show for Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, creative directors of Marchesa, since the Harvey Weinstein scandal broke. Chapman was married to the mega-film producer who in 2017 was accused of sexual abuse. The accusations of their victims originated the feminist movement \"Me too\". Chapman and Craig have created a global fashion brand with elegant evening gowns and exclusive haute couture designs. The voluminous dresses are adorned with micro pearls and 3D organza flowers, delicate threads and wavy textures. The Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week runs until April 28th 2019 and will feature other bridal designers including Yolancris and Pro Novias.
