'Dolce & Gabbana presented beautiful spring summer 2016 collection at Milan Fashion Week. Here is the review. Dolce and Gabbana presented lots of embroided accessories, sundresses, printed scarves, sandals, straw bags. The collection included dresses with prints of flowers like roses, daisies and poppy flowers. Some dresses and accessories had Italian cities printed on them. D&G is known for being very patriotic. They even went as far back in history as to Roman empire and printed Roman warriors on dresses. The collection was very bright and lively with lots of saturated colors, polka dots, stripes, and different semi-prescious stones. Pearls were also added to the dresses, handbags and shoes. Some models were walking in flats or platforms to give the collection a more relaxed look. The shoes were also embroided with flowers, pom pons and semi precious stones. Definitely not an everyday shoe. D&G is known for being inspired by the Catholic church, printing deities on dresses, handbags and shoes. One shoulder and maxi dresses reminded of the roman goddess. Bags and shoes were also decorated with pom pons, chains, and gold. Sunglasses were decorated with different embroidery like pearls and flowers, not sure if those are very Ready-to-wear style, but looked cool as part of the outfit. Models were carrying phones with D&G cases. Yes, we all take selfies, and D&G just put it out there, adding a very modern twist to the collection. Some of the pieces were inspired by Italian gardens, having benches, lemons, and oranges printed on the dresses. Lemons and oranges were also incorporated into the earrings and headpieces. If I like it yes, if I’d wear it, yes but for halloween only. Italian beaches were part of the collection as well, where models were carrying baskets and wore cropped tops, full skirts and clothes with beach balls and umbrellas printed on them. Collection looked like it was inspired by a strong Italian woman who is very fashionable and is not afraid to have some fun.'
