'http://www.aveda.com/products/5291/Hair-Care/Best-Sellers/index.tmpl Aveda stylists stayed busy at New York Fashion Week Spring / Summer 2016. Take a look at what goes on behind the scenes, and see which products helped create the look at each show. Aveda’s Global Artistic Director for Textured Hair Tippi Shorter styled hair for Latinista Collections. She used Aveda’s Thickening Tonic to instantly thicken her models’ hair from root to tip and Control Force Firm Hold Hair Spray to ensure her styles maintained their shape. Tibi invited Aveda Guest Artist Frank Rizzieri to prep hair for the runway. He started off with Pure Abundance Style Prep for long-lasting volume and hold. To remove excess oils, Frank applied a few puffs of Aveda’s new Shampure Dry Shampoo. Aveda Global Creative Director Antoinette Beenders worked on models for Osklen using both Control Force Firm Hold Hair Spray and Air Control Hair Spray for a lightweight, workable hold and a dry application. Allen Ruiz used Pure Abundance Style Prep on the models’ hair before creating modern, stunning braids for Public School’s buzzed-about show. Want to create your own runway looks at home?
