'تعرفوا على محدثتنا الثتانية ضمن برنامج أسبوع “ثورة الازياء” - سحر الريح Meet our second speaker for #FashionRevolution Week in Sudan; Sahar Arrayeh Sahar is a visual artist, fashion designer and founder of independent brand The Nafisa Project. Having graduated from medical school, her passion and interest in fashion and art started from an early age, where she learned from her mother how to make dresses for dolls and progressed from there. Later in life, she deepened her connection with fashion, identifying as a Fashion Artist, by looking at it from a more holistic view, starting from thread spinning all the way up to shooting the final project. Sahar will be showcasing how she makes her unique pieces that are staples of her work as a visual artist. We encourage you to join us and make your very own brooches and head pieces - so bring some scrap fabric, needle and thread, safety pins, glue, flexible wire, cardboard and anything else you have laying around the house that you thought was useless.
