'For a school project this year we were asked to create a media project based around a problem. Obviously, I chose to make a video, and decided to revolve it around fast fashion. It became apparent to me that whilst a lot of people can recognise that fast fashion retailers aren\'t great purely based on the fact a pair of jeans should not be marked at the $15 dollar mark, they don\'t know why this is a problem. As a society we\'ve become accustomed to clothing being cheap and often scoff when a garment puts a solid dent in our bank account. With this video I hope to educate people watching about the resources used in order to create garments, the history of how fast fashion came to fruition and what we can do from here on out. I\'m not telling you off for buying cheap clothing. That would be hypocritical of me, believe it or not I\'m not perfect when it comes to a sustainable wardrobe. But, it\'s better to know the information and be cautious when shopping rather than being oblivious, especially with climate change on the rise and consumerism never being higher. The decision is yours. Ignorance is bliss, yes, but how long can we all stay ignorant? In my opinion, not long. Enjoy! My Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/quinnisdead/?hl=en'
