'Fast Fashion is a growing problem in our world. Globally, we are consuming over 80 billion garments a year-more than at any other point in history. As a result, brands are cutting corners, ignoring safety warnings and paying garment factory workers next to nothing. Women around the world are affected the most by this, especially those who live in a extreme patriarchal societies. In these factories women are sexually abused, forced to work long hours, underpaid, exposed to harmful chemicals and often have to bring their children into the factories due to lack of childcare. Fashion brands need to be held accountable and become more responsible about the production line of their clothing. No product is worth the well-being of another human.
