'Fashion Revolution Week: Senhoa\'s Part'
02:30 Feb 19, 2022
'The 24th May 2017 marks the anniversary of the Rana Plaza garment factory collapse where 1,229 workers lost their lives. From this was born Fashion Revolution Week - a global movement working to improve the working conditions of those making our clothes and accessories and encouraging people all round the world to ask fashion brands who made their clothes and jewelry. To mark Fashion Revolution Week this year we have produced this video where our artisans tell why Senhoa is important to them. We are passionate about sharing the stories of all our artisans that make the jewelry that you buy. To us at Senhoa, our jewelry represents much more than just something beautiful to wear. Our Senhoa logo is a symbol for advocating against human trafficking and the exploitation of, women around the world and standing up for women rights! Employ. Empower. Emancipate. Senhoa is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We support vulnerable persons and survivors of human-trafficking by providing income-generating opportunities, social reintegration and programs for self-empowerment. Please visit http://www.senhoafoundation.org for more information about our projects.'
