'PUMA and Trapstar Launch Preview Collection by Fashion Channel For the first time ever, the UK’s Trapstar will be making a foray into footwear, thanks to a collaboration with PUMA. The two worked together on the Disc Blaze silhouette, showcasing the laceless sneaker in a black, grey and red look. It appears that leather and suede have been utilized on the upper, while a speckled effect draws attention to the midsole. The Disc Blaze sports a predominantly black upper in a mix of materials, that works well with the London-based brand’s aesthetic. The black continues onto the midsole to create a stealthy look, which is only broken up by white speckling, matching Trapstar logos on the heels and hits of red on the outsole and tongue tab. Touches of red via the tongue tab and outsole pop atop the dark backdrop, and Trapstar branding has been applied to the heel.
