'Kids Fashion Show at the \"TALENT SHOW OF PUNJAB\" in Riverside, California. Organized by Kimi Verma We had kids from all ethnicities participating in this show. Like how Dance boosts your Child\'s confidence - being on stage in front of strangers really boosts a child\'s confidence for everything in life. - Dance Encourages Students to Try New Things All The Time Every style of dance has progressions that encourage students to try new things. Instead of focusing all their energy on what they already excel at, dancers are always seeking out new things to learn to build on what they already know. And it’s good for kids to diversify. Attaining new skills makes kids feel capable and confident that they can tackle whatever comes their way. - Dance Builds Perseverance Learning not to give up at the first frustration or bail after one setback is an important life skill. Confidence and self-esteem are not about succeeding at everything all the time, they’re about being resilient enough to keep trying, and not being distressed if you’re not the best. - Dance Training Instills Goal Setting Articulating goals, large and small, and achieving them makes kids feel strong. Our teachers help your child turn desires and dreams into actionable goals by encouraging them to make a list of things they’d like to accomplish. Then in each lesson your child practices breaking down longer-term goals into realistic benchmarks. We focus on validating the interests of our students and helping them learn the skills they need to attain their goals throughout life. - Dance Performances Celebrates Efforts Praising kids for their accomplishments is great, but it’s also important to let them know people are proud of their efforts regardless of the outcome. So, we celebrate their growth through performances that are creative, expressive, and give value to the work they’re doing, whether they’re toddlers getting on stage for the very first time or teenagers choreographing their first dance. 6) Dance Progressions are Designed to Set Kids Up For Success Challenges are good for kids, but they should also have opportunities where they can be sure to find success. When our students repeat the skills they are learning, they feel comfortable and confident enough to tackle a bigger challenge faster. 7) Dance Performances Celebrates Efforts In every class, performance, or competition, dance is bursting with love and support.'
