'(16 Feb 2017) MANDY MOORE SAYS MARCHESA DRESSES ARE \"EMPOWERING\" British designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig unveiled their latest Marchesa collection at New York Fashion Week Wednesday (15 FEB). Featuring their signature ethereal gowns and stunning floral dresses, the long-time designing duo admitted \"a lot (of work) goes into each collection.\" This time, they looked to China for inspiration. \"We\'ve been working on it for quite a long time starting with the reference point of Imperial China and looking at lot of that sort of feeling and looking at rich, decadent textiles and fabrics,\" Craig said backstage. The show brought out celebrities like Olivia Culpo and Mandy Moore, who described the brand as \"empowering.\" \"I mean, if you are looking for sort of the ultimate, feminine, empowering, beautiful sort of award-worthy collection... Marchesa is at the top of that list,\" Moore said. Actress/model Culpo shared that she would be wearing a dress designed by Marchesa to the Oscars later this month.
