'Fast fashion is the mass production of cheap clothing and its environmental impact is becoming increasingly clear. But what about the impact the industry has on BAME women? We\'ve assembled an expert panel to help us explore why the fast-fashion industry is particularly harmful to BAME women, how colonialism is still reflected in the industry today and how you can become a more informed and ethical consumer. Panelists: Kalkidan Legesse, Writer and Founder of Sancho\'s Meg Lewis, Campaigns Manager at Labour Behind the Label Anannya Bhattacharjee, Campaigner for garment workers’ rights at Asia Floor Wage Alliance The event was chaired by Lydia O’Connor-Butler and Elizabeth George from Leigh Day.'
